ABOUT THIS EDITIONAn oracle, not an algorithmic prophecy.
This is a private reflective tool for your three physical oracle decks, designed to work without a network connection.
What the meanings are
Every card has an original interpretation based on its title and a reflection question. These are written for this application. They are not Lorriane Anderson's, Juliet Diaz's or the publisher's guidebook definitions.
The guidebook note area starts empty. You can add brief notes from your purchased guides; these remain local.
What the folklore notes are
Selected cards include contextual notes about Irish or wider European traditions. These distinguish attested customs, later folklore and modern Pagan interpretations. Other cards have no verified Celtic association in this starter library.
Folklore notes are explanatory context, not claims of supernatural prediction.
How this works offline
All card data, visual styles and application code ship with the folder. The journal and your guidebook notes use browser local storage. Export a backup before moving computers or clearing browser data.
No API key, account, Railway deployment, or network service is required.
Future AI connection
Readings can be exported as a structured prompt. The included ai-adapter.js provides a clean integration seam for a future local OpenAI or Claude API bridge. No AI API calls are made in this release.
Never place paid API keys directly in browser JavaScript.
Historical references & card inventories
These public sources were used as general research references. The application does not reproduce the publishers’ guidebook text.
Card inventory is unofficial; check spellings and numbering against the printed decks. Irish folklore is not identical to the entire history of Celtic-speaking cultures.
